Our status as the most popular e-commerce platform in the Netherlands and Belgium is partly the result of all the hard work we put in to earn our customers' trust. Trust is notoriously hard to gain and easy to forfeit, so we need to ensure the quality and safety of our products at all times. But with a catalog of over 35M articles, it's impossible to physically inspect each item before we ship it. That's why we're conceptualizing and building innovative solutions to monitor and safeguard product quality at the required scale. What you'll do as a (Senior) Product Manager
You will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic vision and execution of assortment quality innovations. You will guide a talented team of engineers while collaborating with fellow product managers, product analysts, product designers, and business stakeholders. From a technical perspective, you will start by co-creating and implementing our new detection service to detect more unwanted products faster. Devise initiatives to accurately prioritize the problems we need to solve and the opportunities we should seize. Base your decisions on clear product objectives and ensure that initiatives align with the overall product vision. Explore opportunities and challenges with your team through a process of collaborative discovery. Given the fast-paced setting, you need to deal well with uncertainty and ambiguity and get things done regardless. The drive to take the helm, to experiment, and a 'failures are great lessons' mentality are definitely called for to maximize your impact.
Define the optimum strategy to achieve our vision to make our assortment 100% reliable. Partner with cross-functional teams and collaborate intensively with a large contingent of stakeholders to identify opportunities and foster alignment and commitment. Spark enthusiasm for new opportunities and convert that enthusiasm into hypotheses and experiments. Empower your team to work product-led, ensuring the team runs smoothly, and each member feels seen, heard, understood, inspired, and motivated. Output rules the waves You don't want to define product metrics, measure and track those metrics, and adjust your roadmap as the data dictates. You are also not a fan of inspiring, motivating, challenging, and empowering the team to achieve shared objectives. Solid PM track record You bring product management experience to the table and have a proven talent to ship great products. Not solo, but as the inspirational force of high-performing teams, preferably in large and complex organizations. Analysis shows That you combine strong analytical and conceptual skills with empathy and a gift for communicating and presenting convincingly. You know how to inspire, motivate, and encourage teams and stakeholders alike. You are comfortable in a technology-driven environment You partner closely with the engineering team in an agile environment to deliver products to market.
