• As a Site Cost Engineer you will manageand provide cost engineering services to control the constructioncosts.
• It is expected thatregular rapid, transparent communication of project cost atcompletion, forecasting cash flow requirements, and generalreimbursable cost management of the EPCm Contractor(s) ismaintained.
• Application ofcost procedures and work processes for cost control; includingmonitoring change and their impact, Key Performance Indicator (KPI)reporting.
• Ensure that allconstruction costs incurred are included in the total project costand in line with the Work Breakdown Structure, following companyCode of Accounts.
• Reportexpenditure and commitments against the approved Control Budget andensure trends and any forecast impacts are defined and wherepossible mitigated.
• Interfacewith the EPCm contractor and construction contractors and ensurecost data information and KPIs are being performed in accordancewith the contract.
• Ensuremanagement of change documentation, whether from EPCm Contractor orinternally, is properly completed and cost impacts are defined andmitigated where possible.
•Support the auditing efforts by the banker's engineers chartered bythe external financinginstitutions.
• Bachelor's degree in a technicaldiscipline, or equivalent, is preferred but not essential,depending on experience.
• Aminimum of 5-10 years' experience in a process industry productionand/or engineering environment with large (>$100MM) capitalproject management experience. Mega-project experience(>$1000MM) is preferred.
• Site experience stronglypreferred.
• Experience workingwith site construction contractors and EPCm contractors isbeneficial.
• Thorough workingknowledge of Project Controls practices.
• Knowledge of EcoSys ispreferred.
