As our Brand & Trade Marketing Manager, you will drive both our brand initiatives and trade marketing efforts. You will be responsible for planning and executing strategic branding campaigns across various channels, including digital, print media, ATL, social, and content. You will also oversee trade marketing collaborations with suppliers and partners, ensuring that all campaigns contribute to both commercial and brand objectives. 

This role requires a strong commercial mindset first, with a creative touch. Please go over the description of the role.  

You will lead a team of creative and content professionals, guiding them to deliver campaigns that drive sales, enhance brand awareness, and strengthen our market position in the Home & Living industry. You will work closely with the Category Managers, who are ultimately responsible for the commercial objectives.

What You Will Do 

  • Develop and manage the annual and monthly plans based on budgets for brand and trade marketing efforts that contribute to commercial objectives 

    • Manage brand collaborations by working with external media partners (print, TV, social, etc.) to create impactful branding campaigns 

      • Lead trade marketing initiatives, building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, partners, and internal category managers to develop effective co-branded marketing campaigns 

        • Oversee content and social media marketing, ensuring it aligns with brand positioning and drives engagement and sales 

          • Position fonQ as a premium marketing and sales channel with external partners and proactively close additional marketing deals 

            • Ensure seamless communication with suppliers and internal teams (marketing, category management, and e-commerce) to ensure perfect follow-up and delivery of materials 

              • Identify growth opportunities for suppliers and partners and translate these into concrete campaigns 

                • Analyze campaign performance using sales and customer data, continuously optimizing marketing efforts to maximize impact 



Who You Are 

  • HBO/WO working and thinking level, preferably in marketing, business, or a related field. 

    • 7+ years of relevant experience in marketing, with a strong mix of brand marketing and trade marketing 

      • A strong understanding of the Dutch media market. Experience specific to home & living is a big plus 

        • Experience in executing branding campaigns across multiple channels  (Print, social, content, ATL, etc.). 

          • Strong commercial mindset with a data-driven approach to marketing 

            • Proven ability to lead and develop teams 

              • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 

                • Fluent in both Dutch and English
