With a team of 150+ colleagues we provide IS/IT support to our 3500 NL colleagues in several Business Lines and functions. The IS/IT department of Thales Netherlands works closely together with the international IS/IT departments of the Thales group.
For the Endpoint & Collaboration squad we are looking for a Endpoint Engineer. This squad is responsible for a broad variety of products and services related to the digital workplace and collaboration. Your new squad is also part of both the Endpoint and Collaboration tribe of the whole Thales group. Together they're responsible for the Endpoint and Collaboration platforms within Thales.
About the job
Your work as engineer in the Endpoint squad is varied. The day starts with a brief standup, where we discuss the ongoing tasks and how to align them with each other. Both within the department as well the team we work according to the Agile way of working and SCRUM framework. Throughout the week you focus on the sprint that you work on together with your squad. As a domain expert you are able to transform business needs into working solutions. You have a role in implementing and managing the Endpoint products and ensuring that the implementation becomes a success. Preferably you have gained experience in environments where security and standardization are also very important. You can work out solutions and transfer them into releasable products.
You are responsible for the support and management of products such as:
Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops; Citrix ADC (NetScaler); Ivanti Workspace Control; Windows 10/11; Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager; VMware Workspace One UEM. About you
