Key Responsibilities:

Host and Support:

  • Act as the welcoming face for our courier fleet, providing assistance and guidance as they arrive at the hub.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new drivers, coordinate shift schedules, and offer support during their initial shifts.
  • Foster effective communication between couriers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Coordinating Operations:

  • Maintain operational efficiency by overseeing hub activities and guiding couriers through their delivery experiences.
  • Coordinate monthly events such as pizza nights to promote team bonding and engagement.
  • Monitor compliance with equipment usage and report any absences to maintain service standards.

Fleet and Facility Management:

  • Manage the hub's Fleet Management Tool, addressing any issues with vehicle or equipment maintenance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and vehicles to ensure safety standards are upheld.
  • Maintain stock inventory, perform equipment inspections, and ensure hub cleanliness to create a safe and organized environment.

Health & Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, promptly reporting any incidents and addressing maintenance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work part-time (24h/week)
  • Flexible availability for work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, between 09:00 and 23:00 CET - but it's mostly afternoon/evening work
  • Previous experience in an operational environment is advantageous.
  • Fluent Dutch and English skills are mandatory
  • Natural leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.
  • Highly motivated to excel in a fast-paced environment with a structured approach to work.
