Medical Nurse

Contract Duration:

To be determined Special Service Agreement (SSA) to provide temporary support in the area of Occupational Health MEDICAL NURSE Duties and Responsibilities: Performs occupational health services such as: Responding to routine telephone inquiries and e-mail correspondence, scheduling consultations and medical meetings . Updating and Maintaining patients' records, assist with external referrals as needed Occupational Public Health/Alerts: Monitor and recording of outbreaks, creating background files, and compiling reference material, accessing and retrieving information from relevant databases and doing basic research. Maintain an adequate inventory and stock control of medications and other medical supplies and equipment. Prepare sick leave reports, Provide First Aid/emergency primary care when required Exercise confidentiality at all time Education: Nurse diploma from an accredited Nursing Programme is required. Experience: A minimum eight years of nursing experience, including recent progressive experience in OHS care. CPR/ Basic Life Support and AED training certificates are required. Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of Dutch and French would be considered an asset.
Desirable: Knowledge of/experience with the Dutch healthcare system will be an advantage. Relevant working experience in an international environment is considered an asset. Knowledge in Travel Health would be an asset. Knowledge & skills: Ability to work independently while delivering high-quality results within established deadlines. Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a member of a team. Good oral and written communication skills. Good knowledge in standard MS Office applications including MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
