You'll be part of the Office team. The current team consists of 4 wonderful colleagues: Katerina, Susan, Kwadwoo and Shaun. As our Commis Chef, you'll be responsible for assisting in tasks such as food preparation, serving, stocking, and collaborating with external parties.

To be more precise, you'll:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of daily meals, ensuring quality and consistency.

• Follow food hygiene and safety regulations at all times.

• Support the Head Chef in meal planning, ingredient preparation, and kitchen organization.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen.

• Assist with receiving and storing food supplies.

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.

• Supporting the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflows during a shift.

• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.

• Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added to you from time to time.

We think it's important if you have:

• A culinary certificate/diploma or relevant kitchen experience.

• Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and kitchen hygiene.

• Ability to work well in a team and take direction.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Other requirements

• You are living in Utrecht, or at least travel distance to our Utrecht office;

• You have EU citizenship or a valid work permit;

• You are willing to come to our Utrecht office 4 days/week (32 hours per week);

  • Working days: From Monday till Thursday (Fridays off) 

  • Starting time: Every day at 9:00 a.m.

• The salary range based on a 40-hour workweek starts at a gross €2.500 per month, within a clear career and salary structure.

• 8% holiday allowance - 8% of your yearly salary, which is paid together with the May salary.

2. After that, you'll be invited for an interview with Susan and Shaun at our office (60 minutes)
