Purpose of Position

For our HQ in Europe: Rotterdam, we are seeking a meticulous and analytical Transfer Price & Back Office Analyst, you will effectively coordinate intercompany cargo nominations, implementing an accurate control for nomination deadlines according to vessels scheduling, price calculation and rectification, invoice issuance and system (SAP) inputs. You will coordinate and act on administrative aspects of the post-deal trading activity, supporting the team with the operational tasks, posts on the system, and new operations set up. Liaise with different teams in the organization to ensure accuracy in the accounting records and compliance with corporate procedures, pricing policies and tax obligations:

Price calculation (provisional and final) and invoice issuance for intercompany transactions; 
Intercompany cargo nominations; 
Postings trading deals in the ERP system; 
Coordinate and ensure secured payables/receivables of material and services; 
Direct interface with different teams in the organization to ensure: (i) the accuracy of data recorded in the ERP system and (ii) compliance with regulations and internal controls; 
Perform monthly controls to assure accuracy of information and conformity with procedures and audit requirements; 
Engage in strategic discussions and process/ procedure reviews regarding intercompany transactions; 
Liaise with corporate support teams such as finance and IT regarding system postings and improvements, new procedures workflow, among other subjects and alignments; 
Actively participate in projects for processes and systems enhancements and automation, supporting mapping, testing and implementation. 
Map and Calculate Key Performance Indicators for Trading Operations and Back Office. 
Know very well the corporate directives and procedures and make sure that the team is following and report exceptions/deviations; 
Follow strictly internal procedures and company's policies.

Technical / Management Knowledge 
- Fluent English; Portuguese speaker is an advantage 
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering or Polytechnic Diploma in a relevant field is required; 
- Prior experience with SAP or other enterprise software(s) is an advantage; 
- Advanced Excel and other Microsoft Office tools are required; 
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to details; 
- Effective organizational skills; 
- Effective communication skills; 
- Demonstrate ability to understand priorities well, effectively multitask and meet critical deadlines; 
- Ability to receive and provide strong and constructive feedback
