Your work as a Relationship ManagerAs a relationship manager, you and your team will be responsible for optimising the flow of regional students to HZ by, among other things, effective relationship management with educational institutions in Zeeland and realising personal contact moments between HZ and students. You will contribute to a smooth transition from studying at secondary school and mbo to hbo education at HZ, ensure a high level of stakeholder engagement and positive image building around HZ, and you will be responsible for policy in the field of throughput as part of the broader HZ student recruitment policy. You are able to achieve a high level of stakeholder engagement based on external discussions with rectors, team leaders and pupil counsellors and consultations with stakeholders within HZ. You use the available data, give well-founded advice to optimize throughput within the available budgets and know how to create support for this. The goal is to let students experience whether studying at HZ suits them and to ensure that they are well prepared for their future studies.
You start the day with a team meeting where you and your colleagues go over the week and update each other on your work. You then work on plans to bring HZ to the attention of the focus schools of each educational domain in a more targeted way. For this, you coordinate with the account managers within the department. At the beginning of the afternoon you have a meeting with one of the domain directors at a secondary school in the region where you coordinate wishes and needs. Back at HZ you work out the agreements made and coordinate the corresponding actions. Finally, you draw up a memorandum for the Board and Management Team with a proposal for the sustainable organisation of all online and offline study choice events. Your day is very varied and partly takes place outside HZ, but you love the variety and dynamics
