We are looking for a UX/UI Design Intern with a strong passion for creating an immersive and engaging digital customer experience. The ideal candidate would have a strong portfolio demonstrating an eye for polished detail and structured approach.
As a member of the digital customer experience team at G-Star, you will have the opportunity to help shape the continued growth and definition of design within a Design System together with other designers and development in order to create one consistent definition of the G-Star experience.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all designs delivered for development meet our design guidelines and are captured for other designers to use within a Figma design library.
Your tasks & responsibilities:
You will receive hands-on mentoring for how to deliver final, pixel perfect designs within a Figma design library for other designers and for final development handoff. Ensure all pixels finalized by other designers meet the guidelines. Help define additional design guidelines based on best practices & a new consistent design language. Assist in the planning of iteration design proposals for A/B testing in order to assure that all changes are well tested and deliver the best experience for all of our global customers.What you bring to the table:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Design or related program. A portfolio of digital design examples that showcase your skills. Experience working with Figma. You are organized and extremely focused on every small detail. You have your own style but are able to follow design guidelines set by a team. You are available full-time (40hrs per week) for a period of 6 months starting in September 2024. You are enrolled at university or college for the full length of the internship, in the Netherlands or within the EU. If you are studying within the EU, you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment from your school. You are already living in the Netherlands or able to relocate quickly, and have a BSN (or in process of getting one).Here's what we bring to the table:
