Job Description

Innovation is the key driver to deliver IFF Vision 2020 and beyond. Project Manager for IFF's Nourish Innovation is a critical position in the global innovation group responsible for the end-to-end project delivery using a stage-gate process (Business Excellence).

Successful project management will require an organized and structured approach to formalize timelines and deliverables. This position will work closely with Innovation Leaders to assist with development and execution of innovation technologies and commercial implementation (both internally and externally). % of Time Responsibility

40% - Responsible for the end-to-end project delivery of multiple innovation initiatives in accordance to the Business Excellence stage-gate process.
- Initiate, plan, execute, monitor and track project plan and metrics of complex innovation projects across I,C & D 
- Prioritize innovation and key commercial projects and resources, recognize interdependencies, remove barriers, tackle technical hurdles and bring products to the market
- Manage division wide projects as a community manager, socializing the launch and benefits
- Concurrently manage numerous programs, projects, and cross-functional initiatives
- Facilitate project status meetings, capture meeting minutes, reports status to innovation and technical leaders, sponsors and stakeholders.

40% - Maintain communication documents for project status and documentation, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.
- Create visually appealing presentations for senior leadership, including compelling infographics and dashboards to illustrate data insights.
- Foster excellent communication within the organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive project results.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of innovation projects.

20% - Manage traceability of innovation projects: documentation, project history and organizational knowledge. 
- Develop and utilize centralized methodologies, tools, templates for reporting and reducing bureaucracy. 
- Conduct multiple financial analyses for decision making. 
- Create high quality visually compelling metrics reports, including revenue, adoption (pipeline & submission). Utilize business accumen to derive insights, apply the right visual elements that complements content and provide right oversight to guide business on technology uptake. 

Job Requirements


• Bachelors or Masters in Applied Science or Business is preferred. 

• Must have 5+ years in flavor or related industry

• Successful and demonstrated track record in the creation of infographics, dashboards or visual designs to illustrate data insights

• Background in flavor science, fermentation, starter culture or enzymes is preferred.

• Formal Project Management training is a Plus

• Proficiency with either Waterfall or Agile environment

• Experience with product life cycle management 

• Must have demonstrated interpersonal effectiveness and emotionally intelligent communication skills to communicate, persuade, influence, and handle challenging conversations effectively.

• Possess effective leadership, influencing, and relationship-building skills with an emphasis on team culture, morale, engagement, and retention.

• Must be a go-getter, agile, and not afraid of change management
