Als Safety, Security & Compliance Coordinator ben je mede verantwoordelijk voor de veiligheidsactiviteiten (Safety & Security) in en rondom onze scholen. Samen garandeer je de veiligheid van onze studenten, medewerkers en eigendommen. Je neemt operationeel verantwoordelijkheid technisch gerelateerde zaken van het security management systeem, inclusief alle daaraan gerelateerde administratieve werkzaamheden.
Op het gebied van veiligheid zie je toe op een juiste uitvoering van de wet en regelgeving. Je bent in staat om jouw gespecialiseerde kennis toe te passen bij het geven van advies over veiligheid relateerde kwesties en kan dit in goed overleg met de verantwoordelijke personen uitwerken.
Bovendien werk je nauw samen met de Executive Assistant to the CEO. In deze rol zorg je ervoor dat de policies en procedures door de verantwoordelijke personen up-to-date worden gehouden en zorg je ervoor dat deze getekend en intern gepubliceerd worden. Je hebt zorg voor de updates bij de kamer van koophandel, organiseert meetings en assisteert de Executive Assistant to the CEO bij diversen werkzaamheden.
Uiteraard werkt je veel samen met de collegas van andere afdelingen (Operations & Facilities, IT, Communications & Admissions, etc.) en met de collegas op de scholen, en adviseert hen bij alle zaken rondom Safety & Security.
In deze functie rapporteer je aan de Head of Security & Data Protection.

The British School in The Netherlands (BSN) is een vooraanstaande internationale school. Leiderschapsstructuur
De BSN wordt geleidt door een Board of Management (BoM) met een CEO aan het hoofd. Elke school wordt geleid door een ervaren directeur (Headteacher). Samen met de CFOO (Chief Finance & Operations Officer) en de CHRO (Chief Human Resources Officer), geeft de BoM leiding aan strategische verandering en schoolverbetering, terwijl het ook toezicht houdt op de operationele efficiëntie en effectiviteit. De effectief aangestuurde centrale diensten (Central Services) ondersteunen de schoolactiviteiten en dragen bij aan de ontwikkeling van de school op het gebied van Communicatie, IT, Faciliteiten, Financiën, Human Resources en Veiligheid.
Je beschikt over HBO werk- en denkniveau;
Je hebt een relevante studie gevolgd, bijvoorbeeld integrale veiligheid of security & risk management; Je hebt minimaal 3 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie; Je hebt relevante werkervaring met kennis van beveiligingsinstallaties; Je hebt kennis en ervaring in het toepassen van BHV maatregelen; Je hebt klantgerichte houding, je bent in staat complexe casuïstiek helder en eenduidig te formuleren en je werkt georganiseerd en gestructureerd; Je vindt het een uitdaging om diversen (veiligheid) projecten te leiden en succesvol op te zetten en af te ronden; Je bent een hands-on persoon die tactisch te werk gaat en tegelijkertijd een stevige gesprekspartner om complexe (veiligheid) vraagstukken aan te pakken; Je bent sociaal vaardig en beheerst de Nederlandse en Engelse taal goed, zowel in woord als geschrift; Je beschikt over het vermogen om doelstellingen te kunnen vertalen naar resultaatgericht werken, waarbij de veiligheid van student en medewerker centraal staan; Sterke schriftelijke, digitale en contactuele vaardigheden; Je bent in staat om goed met verschillende culturen om te gaan (inlevingsvermogen), ben je een organisator en verbinder ineen; Kennis van de AVG wetgeving, risk management en arbeidsomstandighedenwet (ARBO) is een pre.
