Yard Manager

**How you can make your mark**:
As a Yard Manager, you are responsible for the efficient and safe management of the Moerdijk yard inventory, including the receipt, storage, issuing and administrative handling of goods.
You ensure that the materials are in good condition for operational teams, in accordance with Boskalis safety standards and NINA principles.

**Your responsibilities as a Yard Manager**:

- Receiving, inspecting and registering incoming goods, including quality and quantity checks.
- Storing materials and parts in the correct and safe locations within the yard.
- Issuing goods to internal departments and recording transactions in the ERP system.
- Monitoring stock levels, identifying shortages and reporting to the Team Leader.
- Conducting regular stock counts and resolving discrepancies between physical and recorded inventory.
- Ensuring goods are packed and labelled according to agreed standards prior to dispatch.
- Assist and coordinate in safe loading and unloading goods, including the safe use of forklifts, cranes and other lifting equipment.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized yard in line with safety and quality requirements.
- To be onsite between 07:30 - 16:00 hrs daily.

**Your qualities**
- Secondary vocational education level 2 (preferably in logistics or warehouse / yard management).
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in a warehouse / yard or logistics role.
- Experience with the safe use of lifting equipment (forklift certificate required; overhead crane operation experience is an advantage).
- Basic command of English (written and spoken).
- Experience with common dredging equipment is preferred.

- Your team: As yard manager you are part of BKI and BKN team. You will report to applicable equipment owners.
- Where you will work: You will be working at our storage yard in Moerdijk.

- time job: The position of Yard Manager is a fulltime job (40 hours).
