Associate Quality Manager

Are you a qualified and experienced manager with at least 3 years track record with the capabilities to manage the quality assurance and control system? Do you poses knowledge and experience in compliance to regulations, locally and globally related to food and sustainability? Do you want to develop yourself in a mid-sized, young, and fast-growing international trade organization within the Food & Beverage industry, where you will be totally responsible for the assurance that all the products, processes and documentation meet the legal and healthy requirements of regulatory authorities by further developing, reviewing the quality and food safety policies, processes and all Hhoya team members? This key role supports HHOYA fast expansion strategy in meeting our multi-national customers’ safety and quality demand. The role does not just support HHOYA food quality and safety audits, you also represent HHOYA to our suppliers and customers in safety and quality, product and sustainability topics, to advocate for excellent performance, improve our standards and standing in global context, reduce financial risk, and enable optimum business growth.

Can you manage audits by third-party inspections and audits, monitor the day-to-day processes related to quality requirements throughout the whole organization and supply chain of the company (supplier, transport, storage, and deliveries to our client) as well as the necessary documentation? Can you coordinate, instruct, realize, and check the quality compliance optimization and efficiency improvement that is required in our company? This role advocates for a strong quality management system when addressing complaints, issues and audit findings related to HHOYA trading activities and third-party warehouses.

Are you a very good planner and organizer, well-motivated, fast (thinking), quick responsive, self-supporting, flexible, driven, accurate and do you have excellent communication skills? Do you have strong management capabilities, risk awareness and can you control and monitor these risks, and do you see a challenge in working with multinationals? Are you the one getting claims reimbursed and know how to minimize recurrence of damages?
- Monitor and ensure compliance to quality and safety requirements in the day-to-day processes throughout the whole organization and supply chain of the company (supplier, transport, storage, and deliveries to our client) as well as the necessary documentation.
- Support and ensure successful continuation of BRC, EU-Organic (SKAL), USDA-NOP and other certifications required and the execution of the quality policies, processes and documentation.
- Coordinate, instruct, and check the quality compliance optimization and efficiency improvement that is required in the company.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders, handle quality system non-conformance cases, conduct investigation, identify root cause and ensure completion of corrective actions.
- Support HHOYA journey to actively participating by improving our standing in social responsibility, sustainability and environment schemes.

Based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch-headquarters, the Netherlands, you manage the quality assurance and quality control and its team from our office in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and work closely together with your team members in Beijing, China, and all other related departments. You are the qualified professional manager responsible for the Quality of our company. You ensure successful renewal of BRC certification for HHOYA, as well as other certification or audit schemes such as USDA NOP and SMETA. You execute the safety and quality related policies, monitor processes, and ensure documentation of the whole organization and in the relationship with our 3PL warehouse partners in currently, the Netherlands (3), USA (2) and Canada (1), as well as our logístical partners.

As Associate Quality Manager, you report to Quality Manager and support Product Qualification team in ensuring the customers’ quality requirements are fulfilled. In addition, in this role you support the maintenance and control of Quality Management System in HHOYA. You will assist in audits by third parties’ inspections, control and monitor quality processes, requirements, and documentation, carry out quality training program, organize and plan internal audits. With your knowledge you are able to spot gaps and improve quality processes and to maximize the company’s efficiency and trust ability to our customers, and all other stakeholders.
