The Housekeeping Room Attendant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of guestrooms, public areas, and gardens within the hotel premises. This position encompasses a range of responsibilities including room cleaning, turndown service, maintenance of public spaces, and liaison with other departments for seamless operations.
Your Role in Our Story:
- Clean guestrooms thoroughly, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and replenishing amenities. Conduct turndown service during evenings to prepare rooms for the night.- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of public areas and gardens.- Manage heart of the house areas, including linen distribution and stocking service closets.- Identify areas requiring additional cleaning or supplies and communicate effectively.- Collaborate with Engineering to report defects and Food & Beverage department for cleaning different outlets.- Stick to proper procedures for separating garbage and follow instructions accurately.
What We’re Looking For:
- Flexible availability to work shifts between 07:00 and 23:00 on weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.- Physical strength and endurance to stand, walk, and lift equipment throughout the shift.- Willingness to clean rooms, restock service closets, and maintain public areas and gardens.- Effective communication skills in English
