**Your role in the story**

As Project Manager you are (primary) responsible for managing all aspects of projects. This starts during the tender phase of a project to support the preparation of the bid. You assume full responsibility for the project from Contract award until Close out. Some of your daily tasks and responsibilities are:

- A key aspect of this role is to strongly focus on contract management and negotiating Variation Orders, where your commercial savviness and drive to secure the best deal for HMC will be crucial;
- Building and leading the project team and contributing to development of team members;
- Identifying and promoting continuous team improvement;
- Being the primary point of contact for the client on the project;
- HSE performance of the project;
- Quality performance of the project;
- Developing the project execution plan;
- Developing the project execution schedule;
- Optimizing the project cost and result, incl. identification of risks and opportunities.

**Who will you work with?**

You will work along with experienced other Project Managers and you will be leading projectgroups with colleagues fromout different departments of our company. It will be your job to manage projects within time, budget and with zero incidents.

**Is this the job for you?**:

- Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering or equivalent;
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years in Offshore industry and evidence of affinity with a project management role;
- Result orientated and excellent delegating skills;
- Commercial savviness and drive;
- Comprehensive understanding of offshore projects;
- Excellent business acumen;
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written;
- Willing to work (temporarily) offshore on our vessels, overseas or in our other offices, in case needed.
