You will partner with a Lead or Senior Analyst to develop and implement a project. You will be fully included in project conceptualisation, and we welcome your input in ideas on how to deliver it.

Your project may involve cooperation with teams such as Application Support, Information Security, Development, Infrastructure, Audit, Risk, Automation & Robotics, and other resolver and service teams.

Service Delivery ensures that the services provided to the people at Aegon Asset Management meet quality and performance expectations. We proactively improve the way we work as an organisation, and build relationships with key individuals, teams, and organisations to achieve that.

Together, we can shape a project with one or more components, matching our priorities and your interests, in areas such as:

- Streamlining the way in which we provide our end users with laptop, virtual machine, and other builds, and exploring future scenario’s. [BYOD, dual boot, etc]
- ITIL Configuration Management and maturing our CMDB
- Major Incident Management and Escalation of IT issues
- Production, and evolution and centralisation of, our Management, Availability, Capacity Management, and other reporting.
- Workload and workflow improvements, map out existing activities, ensuring the correct team owns it, streamlining and automating task.
- Building live & interactive Reporting and Dashboards by leveraging ServiceNow and PowerBI
- Driving down System and Application Technical Debt, Vulnerability Management.

Who will be your new colleagues?

As a Service Delivery Intern, you will join a team of 12 in our global IT Service Delivery team based in three geographical locations (The Hague, Edinburgh, and Cedar Rapids). We communicate in English. We leverage an Agile approach to get things done, and are self-driven, and able to bring others along on improvement initiatives. When implementing or reviewing processes and systems, we adapt to changes in the way we do business and streamline our ways of working.

You will be located at our headquarters in The Hague, the Netherlands. Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office, 40 hours a week. You will receive an internship allowance of €650 a month, and loan of a laptop for the duration of your internship.

It is required to be enrolled at a university to take part in this internship. Next to that you will need a Dutch BSN-number and Dutch bank account. If you are a non-EU/EER student, you will need a valid residence permit stating that you may work ('arbeid vrij toegestaan'). Applications that do not fulfil these criteria cannot be taken into consideration.
