Are you an experienced event coordinator within the luxury segment ready to excel at one of Amsterdam's most unique properties? At the Conservatorium hotel, you can use your sales skills to deliver personalised service, manage unique events, and ensure every detail exceeds our client expectations
**What will be your role?**
As a Groups & Events Coordinator at the Conservatorium hotel, you will thrive in a dynamic environment, adeptly handling deadlines and ever-changing situations. The Conservatorium hotel is a unique location renowned for its close guest contact and personalised service, which will be at the heart of your role.
With your strong sales skills, you provide personalised advice to clients for their events. You will conduct tailored sales proposals, manage existing enquiries, and ensure efficient deal closures by understanding and convincing the client.
In addition, you will organise and conduct site visits, serve as the primary contact for guests before and during their stay, and communicate all event information clearly to the hotel’s operational teams. Your success in this role will stem from understanding the unique needs of each client, maintaining relations, ensuring exceptional service and sales goal achievement.

**Who are we looking for?**
Our new Groups & Events Coordinator is passionate about event coordination, easily aligns with the client’s needs, and has a positive approach with their own proactive sales style. They excel in translating the client’s wishes into possibilities at our hotel, is well-organised and representative. As a team player with a great sense of responsibility, you bring the following qualifications and skills:
- Experience in sales/ groups & events within five star hotels (work or internships);
- Hotel management educational background;
- Proficiency in Dutch and English (verbal and written);
- Familiarity with Opera, Smartspace and Salesforce (preferred).
