We are looking for **kitchen assistants** _(32 hours)_ in Amsterdam for our Pancake restaurant at Damrak, nearby Central Station.

**We offer a salary above CAO, based on experience and age.**

Working hours are flexible but we expect you to work at least one day during weekends. Experience is as a kitchen assistant is a MUST and we are looking for **motivated** & **organised** colleague who is willing to learn and love to work in a team.

**What will you do?**
As a kitchen assistant at Dutch Pancake Masters, your day begins with a commitment to excellence in the kitchen. You will prepare a variety of delightful pancake dishes, bringing creativity and passion to each plate. Ensuring that every pancake is made to perfection, you will follow recipes while also having the opportunity to add your unique flair. You'll collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to the highest standards of food safety and hygiene. During busy periods, you will thrive under pressure, ensuring that every order is served promptly and efficiently. You will also assist the kitchen leader on stocking & assisting kitchen staff. You are not just a cook; you are an integral part of creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

**Your Workplace**
Dutch Pancake Masters is situated in the heart of Amsterdam City Centre, just a 3-minute walk from Central Station. Our 'Casual Dining' concept believes in delighting our guests with amazing food and excellent service. Your team will be guided by the kitchen leader, with oversight from the Operational Team Lead.

- You have a strong work ethic and bring a positive attitude to the kitchen.
- You are reliable, responsible, and possess strong communication skills.
- You are passionate about food and dedicated to providing our guests with an unforgettable culinary experience.
- Previous kitchen experience is a MUST, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are equally valued.
- You are available to work 4 days per week (approximately 30-32 hours per week), including weekends and holidays as needed.

**What do we offer?**
- Flexible or fixed contract for 6 months, averaging 30-32 hours per week with the potential for a permanent position.
- A salary ranging from €15,15 to €17,40 per hour based on your experience. If you are under 21, you will receive a percentage of the starting salary based on your age.
- 8% holiday allowance.
- Travel expenses of €0.23 per kilometer, up to 100 kilometers per day (for those who live outside of Amsterdam).
- 25 vacation days per year for a full-time position of 38 hours per week.

We ask all new employees to submit a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). After all, you play a crucial role in delivering an amazing dining experience This requirement will be discussed during the selection process.
