**About This Role**:
We are looking for a** Junior Accountant **to join our finance team in Amsterdam**.** Our Finance team provides timely, reliable, and accurate financial information to relevant stakeholders, thus assisting decision-making. Efficient processes, transparency, and compliance with local and international financial reporting regulations are critical to the finance functions in our company. Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:
**Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will:

- Be responsible for accounts receivables/payables;
- Taking care of provision booking;
- Handling payment preparation and processing;
- Managing inter-company recharges and reconciliation;
- Complying monthly journal entry analysis (checking correctness of used cost accounts and allocation to cost centers);
- Interacting and cooperating on tax registration (VAT, Corporation Tax, Salary Tax), with the support of our external accountant;
- Supporting activities during month-end closing (investor reporting) and year-end closing (annual report).

**Your Profile**:

- Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar education;
- Experience in accounting / tax reporting;
- Knowledge of Dutch legislation (GAAP) is a plus;
- Organized, accurate, and reliable;
- Able to work independently and in a team;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Knowledge of and experience with Navision/Business Central is a big plus;
- Excellent language skills in English (in both speaking and writing).
