**MIMETAS is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to join our Commercial team in the Leiden area, The Netherlands. Do you want to combine your interest in science with creativity, communication, and digital marketing? Then join our dynamic and fast-paced team as our new Marketing Intern.**

**About MIMETAS**:
MIMETAS is a rapidly growing company that specializes in human disease modeling using organ-on-a-chip technology. We are on a mission to pioneer the first generation of medicines grounded entirely in human data, using our unique disease modeling platform that is human, comprehensive, and scalable. Our disease models are designed to discover new therapeutic approaches and bring more drugs to patients by reducing attrition while lowering development costs. MIMETAS has an open culture, where achievements go hand in hand with a fun place to work. Our close-knit team stays successful by maintaining a good atmosphere while working in a highly competitive field. Our headquarters are based in Oegsgeest, The Netherlands, with additional sites in Enschede, USA, and Japan.

**Your profile**:

- You are a Bachelor’s or Master’s student in **Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field with an affinity for science**; or in **Life Sciences (e.g. Biomedical Sciences, Biology, Biopharmaceutical Sciences, or related) with an interest in Marketing and Communication;**:

- You enjoy translating complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging messages;
- You have strong communication and organizational skills, and a creative mindset;
- You are motivated, collaborative, and looking for an internship for 5-6 months or longer;
- You speak and write proficiently in English.

**What you will do**:

- Create and edit marketing content such as blogs, social media posts, product sheets, and newsletters;
- Support branding and storytelling initiatives that communicate MIMETAS’ unique technology;
- Assist in organizing and promoting events, webinars, and trade shows;
- Conduct market research on industry trends and competitors to support campaigns;
- Collaborate with scientists and commercial colleagues to align marketing with scientific innovation.
