**Warehouse Manager (Waalhaven)**

**Location**: Waalhaven, Rotterdam
**Employment type**: Full-time, 40h/week (Monday to Friday)

**Starting time**: As soon as possible

**About the role**
We are looking for an organized and driven **Warehouse Manager** to oversee daily operations in our Waalhaven facility. You will be responsible for coordinating truck arrivals and departures, planning loading and unloading activities, and ensuring that pallets are stored efficiently for both short
- and long-term needs. This role requires strong leadership, flexibility, and the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a well-structured and safe working environment.

**Key responsibilities**
- Plan and organize daily warehouse operations, including truck loading/unloading and timetables.
- Manage storage space and ensure pallets are properly arranged for short
- and long-term storage.
- Oversee packing, palletizing, cross-docking, and small-docking activities.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of CMR documents and other shipping paperwork.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of warehouse staff.
- Coordinate manpower requirements to match operational needs.
- Monitor workflow to maintain efficiency, safety, and quality standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet trucks, or similar machinery when required.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar logistics role.
- Valid forklift/reach truck certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team.
- Fluent in **Dutch and English** (other languages are a plus).
- Hands-on mentality, flexible, and able to work well under pressure.
- Knowledge of logistics processes including packing, palletizing, cross-docking, and documentation.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems and basic MS Office tools.
