Part-time (2-3 days/week, in-office)

Located in the Leiden Bio Science Park, the largest life sciences hub in Europe, you’ll be surrounded by innovation. You’ll work part-time (2-3 days/week) with senior developers, gaining hands-on experience on impactful projects.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Work closely with senior developers to develop software solutions, including those that leverage AI and machine learning for biomedical research.
- Write, test, and improve code that’s user-friendly, scalable, and high-quality.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary teams solving real-world problems in life sciences and healthcare.
- Develop your coding skills and get real-world experience in a quickly evolving field.

**Who You Are**:

- Comfortable with Python (FastAPI), PHP (Laravel), and JavaScript (React).
- Familiar with version control (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Enjoy problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Work well in a team, and independently.
- Studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or something similar (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
- Good command of English (Dutch is a plus, but not required).

**Bonus if You**:

- Have an interest in the life sciences or healthcare.
- Have experience with frameworks like React, Laravel, or Django.
- Have some personal coding projects or a GitHub portfolio that shows your skills
