- VacaturetekstWe are looking for a Manager Commercial Controlling Innovation based in Amersfoort. Although part of the Customer Connectivity Finance team - supported by with the Commercial Controlling Analyst Innovation - you’ll act as main innovation finance business partner to a wide range of (senior) stakeholders in the field of Marketing, Product Group Management, Sales, Research & Development and Supply Chain.
In your role your will be responsible for driving the innovation finance function and agenda in order to achieve FrieslandCampina Ingredients’ (FCI) ambitious growth plan. You will have direct interaction and significant exposure to the Innovation Leadership Team and are closely involved with FCI’s long-range plan.
Your main responsibilities are:
- Leading the Innovation and business development controlling and performance cycle ensuring we are “doing things right” and “make appropriate progress” to drive value on the mid-term:
- Drive periodical reporting process on in-year Innovation delivery as well as progress on key mid-term projects, pro-actively advise on corrective measures
- Lead the annual innovation outlook process for the next year
- Develop leading indicators and drive data-driven commercial execution incl. the use of business intelligence tools (PowerBI)
- Driving the Innovation Governance and New Product Development (NPD) cycle from finance perspective ensuring we are “doing the right things”:
- Act as finance lead to monitor and drive future value from NPDs in Innovation Portfolio Meetings
- Serve as finance gate keeper during stage gate approval meetings for NPD projects
- Providing ad hoc and continuous finance support on NPD and Strategic projects to ensure robust financial analyses and decision-making:
- Act as key innovation finance business partner to a wide range of stakeholders across (innovation) functions
- Be the main sparring partner, challenger and supporter on business cases of various NPD projects (e.g. commercial feasibility)
- Continuously improving the Innovation controlling infrastructure:
- Maintain the reporting and controlling standards while also taking on ad hoc improvement projects to more effectively drive value-creation
- Bring the automation of our recurring reports and processes to the next level
- Support on the valorization of FrieslandCampina’s (FC) sustainability roadmap:
- Monitor and control the valorization of FC’s sustainability roadmap at FCI customer landscape
- Partner with FCI’s Manager Sustainability and act as first point of contact for the Corporate Sustainability Finance Team
