Are you a driven, ambitious real estate professional, ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Director, Portfolio Management to join our Amsterdam team. You’ll be part of and lead a diverse, dynamic team of managers and analysts. For this role the main focus will be using your expertise in real estate portfolio management and analysis to bring the business to its next stage of growth and improve the performance of the portfolio.

You will report to the Head of Portfolio Management and together, you will make a real impact in optimizing and implementing systems and processes in our pan-European organisation. You will be challenged to work towards best-in-class reporting standards, overseeing reporting for a portfolio of over 1,800 assets. The majority of the team is based in Amsterdam, but we also have some team members working from the London office.

**What you’ll do**
- Provide leadership within the portfolio management team, fostering a collaborative result-oriented culture and a high-performing team environment
- Mentor and share commercial real-estate knowledge with Portfolio Management team members
- Lead design and execution of analysis regarding asset, regional, and country performance to present to internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership team, investors, lenders and the board
- Review inputs and consolidated data during the annual budgeting process to ensure assumptions are commercially viable. Analyse leasing and occupancy performance versus budget or underwrite
- Lead strategic initiatives related to capital market transactions, internal operational improvements and unlocking potential within the portfolio
- Manage internal and external stakeholders including senior leadership team, asset managers, transactions, finance, marketing, and customers

**What you’ll bring**
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, real estate, or a related field.
- Circa ten years’ work experience within the real estate sector, preferably in a similar role
- Experience and interest in managing larger teams, providing leadership and guidance to colleagues of varying seniority
- Proactivity and entrepreneurial mindset, identifying opportunities and executing improvements
- Extensive experience in portfolio management within the real estate logistics sector, asset management experience is a plus.
- Excellent spoken and written skills in English and preferable other European language;
- Proven track record in leading teams and managing complex portfolios.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and portfolio management systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of the logistics and supply chain industry, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- A highly organised approach. You are able to manage and process large quantities of data. You’re competent with Excel.
