**What are we looking for?**

We are looking for an experienced communications advisor who can think strategically and at the same time likes to roll up their sleeves. In this role, you will be responsible for internal communications within Investment Management, a business unit in transition. You will ensure that all communication activities - from strategy to implementation - run smoothly and you will direct all internal communication projects. In doing so, you work closely with the Investment Management Directorate (DOVB) and are their sparring partner when it comes to communication issues. You switch smoothly between organizing daily communication, strategic change projects and coordinating external specialists.

**What will you do?**

Your goal is to ensure that all Investment Management employees are informed and involved on everything that is happening within the Investment Management Unit, its strategy and working towards the future. You want employees to be empowered in their role or function and feed their company pride. In doing so, you will be responsible for preparing the communication annual plan and ensuring its implementation and monitoring. You will respond to ad hoc communication needs and initiate communication based on current developments. You are an important discussion partner for the Investment Management Directorate, advising and supporting them with communication issues. At the same time, you also liaise with staff and program managers to ensure that messages are streamlined. In addition, you will also work with external parties to realize major strategic communications projects and ensure that these projects are well coordinated with day-to-day internal communications.

**What do you need to be successful?**

To succeed in this role, you must have a good understanding of how PGGM and the Investment Management business unit work. You recognize stories of value within our organization, and are a cultural carrier to these values. You are a good listener and easily develop new relationships with stakeholders in our Investment Management department such as the Management Team, Leaders and teams in all departments. You will work closely with the Change Project Manager, who is responsible for the ‘Let's Change The Future’ communications plan. This plan is directly linked to the Strategy 2030 program, a crucial change project within Investment Management. Together you will ensure alignment between day-to-day and strategic communications. Next to internal orientation it works for you when you have a natural curiosity in the outside world, its transitions and its relevance to PGGM Investment Management. Being part of the Corporate Communications team you will have access to various communications specialists such as Public Affairs and External Communications.
