Seven years ago, SeaQurrent embarked on developing a groundbreaking technology - the TidalKite, an innovative underwater kite capable of generating clean energy from tidal currents. Today, as we stand on the brink of this exciting transformation, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Financial Strategy Partner to join our close-knit team. Your role will be pivotal in steering our financial strategy and ensuring our continued success.

**A Day in the Life**:
Imagine yourself as our new Financial Strategy Partner at SeaQurrent. Each morning, you arrive at our Drachten or Groningen office, greeted by the hum of creativity and collaboration. You begin with a quick team meeting, where ideas flow as freely as the coffee. Together, you bring in the latest financial insights and discuss how they align with our strategic goals.

After the meeting, you dive into the preparation of the detailed financial reports. With a meticulous eye, you craft a clear and consolidated overview for the management team. These reports are crucial, not just numbers on a page, but a narrative of our financial health and future potential.

Later you shift focus to our budgeting and forecasting processes. You ensure our projections are both ambitious and achievable. You help identify opportunities for optimization and growth, advising the team on strategic moves.

In the afternoon, Sam collaborates with external auditors, ensuring our financial practices meet all regulatory standards. Their role is not just about compliance but building trust and transparency. They guide the annual audit process smoothly, showcasing our commitment to excellence.

After the strategic thinking, it is also necessary to get down to the financial day to day, ensuring that bills are paid on time and getting our invoices out to our clients. This includes reporting to our subsidy partners, meeting our obligations and helping to secure the necessary funding for our innovative projects. Hours reporting is another essential part of your day. It's a legally required task that serves as a vital tool for managing project planning and resource allocation. You ensure that all hours worked are accurately recorded and reported, providing insights that help streamline our operations.

And it's not only about numbers. You are also included in the discussions about financing for TidalKite projects, providing insights that steer our innovative ventures and you contribute to ESG reporting, highlighting our commitment to sustainability.

As the day winds down, you can reflect on the varied tasks accomplished. From managing the general ledger to preparing for month-end closures, every task contributes to a bigger picture - driving SeaQurrent's mission forward.

**Who Are You?**
- You are a seasoned financial expert with a collaborative spirit and a keen eye for detail. With at least five years of experience in a similar role and a solid educational background in finance or business economics, you thrive in dynamic environments and are driven by results.
- Your proactive approach helps you identify financial risks and opportunities, and your integrity and professionalism are unwavering.
- You resonate with our core values and are eager to contribute to a more sustainable world.
- Fluency in Dutch and a good command of English are essential for this role.
