**About the vacancy**:
To support our further worldwide growth, we are looking to recruit an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance Shared Service Center FSSC in Breda. Your drive is to learn and deploy new features within financial software. Experience with ERP systems like Oracle NetSuite or any other is preferred. You like to be involved in leveraging automation tools from matching invoices to flagging discrepancies or disturbances in the process. The FSSC team works on financial accounting for a high number of NewCold entities in line with our policies and guidelines. You will be based in the company’s headquarters in Breda.

**What will you do?**
- Daily processing of supplier invoices for our NewCold entities, including North America, knowing the process end-to-end.
- Contribute deploying technology and reshaping processes where needed.
- Proactive problem solving for issue resolution where our issues need swift solutions.
- Data analysis for financial insights across our entities to identify trends and irregularities that could impact the business.
- Keep stakeholders in the loop letting them know what’s happening with their invoices or being upfront about potential delays to show that you value their partnership.
- Assist and be a driver in various technology projects for the FSSC-AP process
- Assist with month-end close activities.

**Who are we looking for?**

You are a finance professional who is ready for the next step in his/her career and likes to focus on the finance digitalization in the Accounts Payable process. You are eager to learn new skills, like to share what you already know, expand your network and contribute to the continued growth of NewCold. You have an affinity for financial accounting and the use of technology, preferably you have relevant experience of working in an international environment.

In addition, you have:

- Master’s degree and a minimum of 3+ years of previous Accounts Payable process experience.
- Analytical skills to support our continuous improvement in every step of our AP process to find any slow points or unnecessary steps that could make our AP process more efficient.
- Problem-solving skills to get new solutions implemented to avoid recurring process disturbances.
- Advanced attention to detail to keep our financial records accurate, 1st time right, and vendor relationships to run smoothly.
- Strong communicator internal and external to keep stakeholders in the loop.
- Proficient in English, any other European language is a plus.
- Ability to take on multiple tasks to improve and drive new solutions.
- Proficient in the Microsoft tools including PowerBI.
