**Role Summary**

We are looking for an Expeditor at our Flowserve location in Roosendaal. An exciting job in the expediting team for a purchase order to expeditor position within the operations department. The main task is to follow up on purchase orders by working closely with our suppliers to ensure that their delivery schedule matches our order planning. You enjoy being in control, which is why you are proactive in devising and taking actions so that suppliers deliver on time. In this role, you report to the operations manager. **Your Role**
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers (including visits), (internal) customers and forwarders
- You bring ideas to the table to prevent potentially late deliveries through creative solutions
- You identify delivery risks in a timely manner.
- Customers are proactively informed about the status of their orders
- Checking purchase order confirmations and processing them in SAP
- Inform internal customers (e.g. sales) about the delivery status of a pending order
- Replace and support the Order Processing employee if necessary
- Prepare reports for internal and external customers
- You will be coordinating customs activities
- You communicate daily with your stakeholders.

**Your Profile**
- You hold an HBO or MBO technical degree, e.g. Industrial Engineer or Mechanical Engineering with preferably 1 to 7 years of working experience.
- You thrive in a dynamic, technical environment and enjoy working in a small, proactive team of 4 colleagues. Knowledge of valves is a plus
- You have strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset, and you are great in building and maintaining business relationships
- Knowledge of import and export regulations and procedures is a plus
- Strong command of the Dutch and English language verbally and in writing is mandatory
- Work experience with SAP is a plus
- Willingness to travel to visit suppliers or customers approximately 10% of your time.
