APL Global Logistics B.V. is looking for an experienced **Import Air Freight Operations Specialist** to join our operations team in Hoofddorp.

APL Global Logistics B.V. is an international logistics company operating since 2008. With offices in Dubai, China, and Hong Kong, we provide global transport and customs solutions. Through our extensive partner network, we offer tailored logistics services for exporters and importers worldwide.

**Your Responsibilities**
- **Managing and coordinating air freight imports** - overseeing shipments from pickup to final delivery.
- **Handling customs documentation** - preparing and verifying paperwork to ensure compliance with import regulations.
- **Liaising with carriers and agents** - negotiating terms, planning shipments, and resolving operational challenges.
- **Monitoring shipments in the system** - ensuring accurate tracking and compliance with regulations.
- **Collaborating with customs authorities** - ensuring adherence to import laws and optimizing clearance processes.
- **Coordinating with warehouses** - ensuring timely receipt and dispatch of goods, optimizing inventory management.

**What We Expect**

**Minimum 2 years of experience** in air freight logistics (import).
Strong knowledge of **customs procedures and import regulations**.
Proficiency in **MS Office** and logistics management systems.
Ability to **prioritize tasks and solve problems** in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent **communication and negotiation skills**.
Fluent in **English** (spoken and written).
**Full-time availability (40 hours per week)**.
