**You and your job**:
PME provides specialized expertise on privacy, data protection and record keeping and their intersections with AI and ESG. PME keeps up with regulatory developments and news and informs and advices Rabobank Group. PME is also responsible for Rabobank Group Global Policies and Standards for privacy, data protection and record keeping.

PME is looking for an experienced all round and hands-on Privacy Officer with project management skills. As a Privacy Officer you contribute by supporting the GPO (2nd line) in exercising her regulatory oversight tasks, and in informing, advising and issuing recommendations to the organization. You can make a difference by making sure we as a bank ‘do the right thing’.

PME works closely together with the other GPO teams: Data Protection Oversight (DOS) and Data Protection Specialists (DPS). Together we get things done; together we are one Global Privacy Office (GPO).

- Hours negotiable, with a minimum of 32 hours;
- GPO with more than 30 direct colleagues;
- 9.5 million customers around the world.

***Top 3 responsibilities**:

- Handle complex matters related to overall data protection at Rabobank Group and/or the interplay with other regulations (such as the AI Act, AML regulation and digital regulations) and other functional professional disciplines (such as data management and security), and thereby supporting Manager PME;
- Absorb new and upcoming laws, regulations and regulatory guidances, assess the impact for Rabobank Group and translate into advice and training and into Rabobank Group Global Policies and Standards for privacy, data protection and record keeping;
- Contribute to PME project management and communication.

The more than 30 people in the 2nd line GPO make sure that Rabobank processes personal data, in line with internal and external guidelines, protects personal data and acts within the legal and ethical boundaries. **You and your talent**:

- Bachelor’s degree with at least 10 years or Master’s degree with at least 5 years of work experience in privacy and data protection or a related topic;
- In-depth expert in the field of privacy and data protection;
- Acts as senior partner in dialogue for (higher) management;
- Project management skills and experience;
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills and the ability to work in a large, complex, international organization with a diverse stakeholders framework with different interests;
- Proficient in both Dutch and English, enabling you to participate confidently and professionally in discussions in either language;
- You have one or more of the following certifications: CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM certification, the post executive specialization course on Privacy and Data Protection Legislation, Grotius or similar.

**Pré**:

- Experience in working in an international financial institution;
- Experience with setting up training & awareness;
- Experience in (operational) risk management, IT security or tech.
