Manufacturing Workforce Coach

**Job Mission**:
As a Workforce Coach, your mission is to analyze specific situations within the organization to identify opportunities where training can provide a positive business impact. You will assess the status of knowledge, skills, and behaviors related to identified opportunities and define and document clear goals for the outcomes of on-the-job training, focusing on achieving positive business impacts in three key areas: safety, quality, and progress. You will drive the development, implementation, execution, and qualification of on-the-job training programs.

Additionally, you will provide crucial support to On-the-Job Trainers on the shop floor, assisting them in delivering effective training. Since we are pioneering this new approach, not everything will be fully established from the start, so you must be willing to work collaboratively to shape this initiative. You will also document and present findings to internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment on training initiatives.

**Organize and support on-the-job learning.**:

- Identify opportunities where training can provide a positive business impact.
- Assess the status of knowledge, skills, and behaviors in relation to identified training needs.
- Define and document clear goals for the outcomes of on-the-job training that focus on achieving positive business impacts in safety, quality, and progress.
- Design and develop effective on-the-job training solutions.
- Track and document business improvements, providing detailed reports.
- Manage the lifecycle of on-the-job learnings, including maintaining, updating, and ensuring their relevance and effectiveness.

**Support On-the-Job Trainers on the Shop Floor**:

- Collaborate with manufacturing managers to select the appropriate On-the-Job Trainers.
- Train the on-the-job trainers in delivering effective On-the-job training.
- Guide and mentor On-the-Job Trainers to improve their didactical and pedagogical training skills.
- Track and document coaching progress, providing detailed reports.
- Communicate progress and challenges to all relevant stakeholders.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Learning and Development or a related field.

**Experience**:

- Proven experience in instructional design and developing detailed storyboards for learning materials.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theory and instructional design models such as ADDIE.
- Experience in creating and managing on-the-job training solutions and supporting On-the-Job Trainers.
- Technical proficiency and an understanding of technical concepts (ASML - specific knowledge not required).
- Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to details.

**Personal Skills**:

- Fluent in English (B1 - C2).
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.

**Context of the position**:
This role is part of the ASML Manufacturing Academy workforce coach team, working closely with On-the-Job Trainers and team leads on the shop floor.

This position reports to the Workforce Coach Group Lead and works closely with other Workforce Coach colleagues and the Learning Business Partner.
