**What you're going to do**
As a warehouse employee, you have an important role in the logistics process. You ensure that parcels arrive at the right destination on time, safely and without damage. This is important work, because behind every parcel there is a customer waiting for his shipment. Thanks to your efforts, we can keep our promises and together ensure that everything in the warehouse runs smoothly and efficiently. You will work in a dynamic environment where no day is the same and where cooperation is key.

**Loading and unloading**: You will help with loading and unloading parcels from trucks and vans. You work neatly and carefully.
**Sorting**: You sort parcels by postcode or destination. This ensures they end up in the right place.
**Assembling containers**: You prepare containers for transport or help empty them.
**Working together**: You work well together with your colleagues. Teamwork is important
**Working safely**: You follow safety rules. This keeps the work safe for you and your colleagues.

**Working days and times**
Working days are Monday to Friday. Working hours are divided into morning and afternoon shifts. Mondays you will work from 7:15 to 10:00. Tuesdays to Fridays you will work from 8:00 to 10:00. Evening shifts are from 18:00 to 20:30 or until 21:30, depending on your shift.

**What we offer**
You can work as a warehouse assistant at DHL Express for 9 - 15 hours a week. Working hours are flexible, so you can ideally combine it with your varying school schedule or other activities. We offer you permanent employment after a temporary period and we make sure you are fully trained before you start work.
- Hourly wage from €14.36 per hour, depending on experience
- In addition, you will receive 8.33% holiday pay and 10% holiday hours. Including, your hourly wage is then €18.52 p/h
- There are possibilities for 9 - 15 hours per week
- Of course you will receive travel allowance; after 5 kilometres €0,23 per km
- Nice colleagues and work experience within an international company

**What we ask of you**
- You work accurately and strictly follow safety regulations
- Good command of the Dutch or English language
- You have an excellent command of the Dutch language
- Proactive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
- Physically able to load, unload and assemble containers
