Sourcing Coordinator

The Job As a Sourcing Coordinator you have a coordinating and supporting role within the sourcing team of stichd. The team is responsible for sourcing and selecting the right suppliers based on internationally established criteria. On top of that, they are managing our existing suppliers and ensuring social and environmental compliance at our factories. In this job you play a key role in the organization and planning of all types of sourcing documentation. The position has a broad scope including various projects wherein you can work both organized and independently (a self-starter), especially when the team is travelling. Your Mission - You are responsible for the social compliance process at our factories, and you contribute to obtaining a positive audit result; - You are responsible for the customs registrations of our suppliers and ensure the validity of these records at all times; - You are responsible for managing all supplier documentation; - You coordinate on social (and environmental) compliance topics between the brands, suppliers and stichd; - You proactively stay aware of the latest developments on social compliance and actively innovate and evolve the social compliance processes; - You will have direct contact with our sales and commercial teams to follow-up on sourcing related requests from customers; - You will support other team members by following up on day-to-day issues with suppliers; - You will support the team with strategic data analysis with focus on production quantities, forecast and supplier performance; - You will monitor and follow-up on our sourcing project planning; - You proactively communicate with all team members and functional partners on a daily basis to ensure a smooth sourcing process; - You maintain and develop the relationship with existing suppliers. Your Talent - Minimum requirement Bachelor (HBO) graduate; - Minimum 1-3 years relevant work experience (e.g., coordinating function in an international work environment, experience in working with suppliers abroad); - Experience with and knowledge of the têxtile industry; - Good communication skills and a team player; - Responsible, pro-active, independent, collaborative and dedicated; - Structured way of working, analytical, process-oriented and experience with Excel; - Commercial mindset; - Fluent in English and Dutch, both spoken & written. - This role is based in Den Bosch, the Netherlands. Working remotely from other countries is not possible._ We Offer - 1-year contract with option for extension to permanent contract; - Salary per month based on 38 hours per week, depending on education and experience; - Our salaries are based on 38 hours per week, but fulltime work is 40 hours per week. Instead, you choose between a lot of holidays; 37 per year ór choose for a 40-hour salary per month with still 25 holidays.
