Applicants must have obtained, or be close to completing, a Ph.D. in Information Systems, Information Management, Management, Information Science, or a closely related field. Research that connects IS with Operations Management is a plus. We aim to maximize the research time available to research-active faculty. Research time allocation for the tenure-track Assistant Professor is set at 60%. Research time allocation for tenured faculty is a function of individual performance, but research towards publications in top journals remains a priority at all ranks. Compensation is competitive and among the top in the Dutch universities. In addition, we provide guaranteed travel and starting research budgets. Tenure-track Assistant Professors will receive a 6-year contract, with tenure and promotion decisions made in year 5 (earlier evaluation is possible based on performance).
