**About the position**
To support our ambition and continued international expansion, we are looking for a **Security Manager** to join our Global IT team, based in Rotterdam.

As Security Manager, you will lead the development and execution of Fagron’s global information security strategy. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior management and drive the security agenda across the company. Your role spans policy, compliance, infrastructure security, risk management and M&A support.

This is a key leadership role in an ambitious, fast-paced, and highly regulated environment.

**Your responsibilities**
- Define and lead the global information security strategy and governance model.
- Supporting due diligence and integration of acquired companies.
- Assess and manage cyber risks across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory frameworks (ISO27001, NIS2, NIST, HIPAA, GDPR).
- Lead and develop the global security team and foster a strong security culture.
- Collaborate with IT, Legal, Compliance, Operations and Quality.
- Oversee incident response and business continuity planning.
- Monitor threats and coordinate proactive and reactive measures.
- Define and track KPIs related to security posture and maturity.
- Increase security awareness, develop training and education programs

**Set yourself apart** Your profile**
- Proven experience in a senior security role (CISO, Head of Security or similar) in an international and regulated environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to translate complex issues to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset — capable of operating from boardroom to operations.
- Experience with M&A-related security processes is a plus.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, SC-200 or AZ-500 are a strong asset.
- Fluency in English; Dutch or other languages are a plus.
