You translate the Solution Architect’s vision into detailed functional and technical designs. - Translate the Solution Architect’s vision into detailed functional and technical designs for current and future IT stacks
- Design scalable IT solutions focusing on reliability, performance and maintainability
- Ensure robust and compliant IT solutions that meet enterprise security and governance standards
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, solution architects, business process managers, data engineers and AI engineers
- Lead and coordinate software engineers during the build and implementation phase

You’ll join the Passive Fiber IT & New Build team, part of KPN’s Network Services & Excellence. The team is known for its open collaboration with partners and its drive to simplify processes and IT. Innovation, knowledge sharing and a good sense of humor go hand in hand here.
**Qualifications**
You are proactive, highly analytical and able to clearly translate complex processes into IT solutions. You communicate easily with both technical and non-technical colleagues. Collaboration is second nature, and you take ownership of your work. To do this successfully, you have at least:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Development or Solution Design, including 4 years in Java or similar discipline
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Econometrics, Operations Research, Mathematics or similar field
- Proven experience designing and delivering production-grade IT systems, high-availability processes and Fiber IT architecture
- Knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, continuous monitoring, Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes and hybrid cloud (AWS, Azure, on-prem)
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (such as TOGAF) and strong communication and stakeholder management skills

**Additional Information**
As an employer, we offer you an attractive package, including:

- Gross monthly salary between €5.742;
- and €8.865;
- depending on your experience (based on 40 hours)
- A fixed 13th-month salary, partially paid monthly and partially in January, or you can allocate it to a FLEX & BOOST goal of your choice
- Annual individual and collective salary increases according to our collective labor agreement (CAO)
