NewCold is looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel with a proven track record in international projects to join their legal team. The Commercial Legal Counsel assists the business with advice on all legal matters that arise within NewCold’s operations, with a focus on commercial contracts.

**What will you do?**
- You will be involved in a broad range of (international) business, commercial and legal issues focusing on growing NewCold’s business.
- You are responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating of agreements and other legal documents, such as MOUs, LOI’s, commercial agreements and all sorts of other commercial legal documents in the context of real estate development in an international environment.
- You provide support to and are a sparring partner for the business.
- You will be working as part of the Legal team in close cooperation with the business and other supporting roles such as treasury and the Tax team. Depending on experience and personal interest, managing NewCold’s Intellectual Property may also be part of your scope.
- You will have an important role in managing outside legal counsels across different jurisdictions. The Commercial Legal Counsel will report directly to the General Counsel and will be based in Breda.

**_ Please note working from our Breda office is required 3-4 days a week._**

**Who are we looking for?**
- You have a good understanding of the legal aspects of commercial legal matters.
- You are used to work in an international work environment and in diversified teams.
- You have the ability to deal with rapidly changing conditions and the creativity to come with solutions for problems that may arise during your projects.
- You can manage upwards, keeping team members informed about important issues, and present clearly and precisely to stakeholders, enabling others to understand the key facts and issues.
- You are a qualified commercial lawyer with approximately 5-10 years of work experience, preferably in an international environment.
- You have good drafting and project management skills.
- You have experience with the real estate, technology, IT and/or the construction sector is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
- You are flexible, down to earth and cross-cultural communicational skills.
- You are fluent in English (preferably Dutch), any other European language is a plus.
