**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**

As a Compliance Officer, you play a crucial role in our compliance department, collaborating closely with other Global Risk and Compliance Community officers. In this independent position, you work directly with legal account managers to ensure that Trustmoore and its clients adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.

The definition of ‘compliance’ within Trustmoore extends far beyond mere rules. Our compliance agenda is not solely dictated by regulations; we invest time and effort to ensure that our processes are adaptable and effective in order to understand and manage our risks. As each client presents a unique set of circumstances, we seek a flexible approach rather than relying on rigid procedures and checklists, providing you with a dynamic and stimulating work environment.

This role entails three elements: supporting the Structured Finance and Capital Markets (SFCM) team in the Netherlands, maintaining the relationship with and preparing reporting for the DNB and contributing to the initiatives of the Global Risk & Compliance community.

You will work in our compliance department in Amsterdam and report directly to the head of compliance. You will maintain our high international standards of business integrity and contribute to our risk and compliance organization in the broadest sense.

Main responsibilities are:

- Must be able to work on multiple issues, change priorities, and organize workload;
- Providing ad-hoc advice and guidance to the financial and legal account managers of the SFCM team on the full range of compliance topics, including the applicability and interpretation of structured finance and capital markets regulations;
- Providing support to the financial and legal account managers as well in the process of client acceptance and client file reviews, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the client files by WTT and WWFT and related regulations;
- Assessing regulatory changes on relevance and impact and actioning required changes;
- Providing training and support to the business and other compliance officers to continuously enhance awareness and understanding of compliance risks and regulations;
- Lead risk control and regulatory reporting processes (SIRA, IRAP report, annual Compliance Monitoring Process);
- Leading business compliance meetings and providing training and support to the business to enhance awareness and understanding of compliance risks and regulations continuously;
- Taking part in various compliance projects and working groups;
- Acting as a sparring partner for other compliance officers.

**HOW DO YOU FIT INTO THE TEAM?**

As a Compliance Officer, you manage ad-hoc activities next to your daily work. In this position, you need to prioritize what is important, have a hands-on and independent work mentality and be able to deal with stress. You'll need a helicopter view; you're proactive, know what you're capable of, have good communication skills and are not afraid of asking questions.

Other relevant qualifications for this profile:

- Legal master's degree;
- Minimum of five years of legal/compliance experience in the financial services industry with a proven understanding of capital market processes, participants and regulations;
- Familiar with risk and compliance processes;
- Experience in the trust sector is a pre;
- Interest in securitization regulation;
- Strong organizational and effective communication skills;
- A professional and hands-on work mentality;
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills;
- Self-starting mentality, taking initiative, and
- Excellent communication skills in English (orally and in writing).
