Once upon a time, there were two guys who studied at the Design Academy Eindhoven and loved DJing at parties: Pieter-Jan and Robin. Both coming from entrepreneurial families, they started a successful digital innovation agency named OWOW, meaning the ‘Omnipresent World of Wizkids’. The dictionary defines a wizkid as _“a person who is unusually intelligent, clever, or successful, especially at an early age._” Robin and Pieter-Jan run the agency with one motto in mind: not seriously running a serious business.

**About your role and the team**

As a Finance & HR Manager, you will be individually responsible for overseeing and optimizing both financial and HR processes within our organization. You ensure that payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, and HR administration run smoothly and efficiently. With your structured and punctual approach, you guarantee that all deadlines are met without compromise.

**Let’s get specific.**

Some of the tasks you’ll find yourself doing:

- Managing the daily bookkeeping for all our entities (BVs), including bank transactions, processing purchase invoices, etc.
- Sending invoices, in coordination with the Head of Project Management, and tracking debtor payments
- Overseeing payroll and ensuring timely salary payments
- Providing monthly financial reports to management (Head of Operations & CEO’s) and tracking progress toward company goals
- Handling quarterly VAT returns for all entities
- Preparing the annual budget at the beginning of the year and monitoring financial performance throughout the year
- Drafting (employment) contracts and overseeing a smooth onboarding and offboarding process
- Ensuring compliance with financial and labor regulations
- Maintaining contact with accountants, pension providers, insurance companies, subsidy advisors, etc.
- Preparing annual financial statements for the accountant
- Contributing to strategic financial planning and optimization
- Proposing improvements in finance and HR processes and aligning them with the Operations Manager
- Being happy and celebrating the achievement of all deadlines each month

**Your experience and knowledge**
- Experienced in both finance and HR (previous experience in a similar role is a plus)
- A highly structured and deadline-driven professional, who has the ability to plan and prioritize work
- Able to manage multiple tasks while keeping an eye on compliance and efficiency
- Detail-oriented and known for your punctuality and accuracy
- You are available for 32-40 hours per week
- Knowledge of corporate structures and their financial handling is a plus
- You can read, speak and write Dutch, English and Dothraki fluently (a lot of documentation is in Dutch, so a good command of the Dutch language is necessary)
- You are flexible, self-starting and stress resilient
- You like working independently but also do well within a team
- You live in or nearby Eindhoven, so you can be at the OWOW Office
