**About **Nutreco’s** Headquarters, IT, Digital, and Corporate Development Functions**

Nutreco’s Headquarters houses vital functions such as Finance, Legal, HR, and IT, which are integral to the company's global success. Our IT and Digital teams are leading Nutreco’s digital transformation, streamlining processes, and introducing new technologies across the business.

As Business Controller, you will provide financial leadership, insights and critical support to all of these departments, ensuring that our day-to-day operations and projects are financially sound and strategically aligned. Some of your key responsibilities will include supporting teams in developing value propositions, acting as a financial guide on projects, managing planning and reporting for the departments, and collaborating with other financial and business controllers to further integrate the financial processes of Nutreco’s head office departments.

**About The Role**

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver reliable financial reporting and analysis for all Headquarters functions, including Finance, Legal, HR, IT, Digital, and Corporate Development.
- Lead the month-end closing process in collaboration with the financial shared service center and contribute to financial planning cycles (rolling forecasts) for both established HQ functions and strategic growth areas like Digital and Corporate Development.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and business case evaluations for key HQ initiatives, as well as track and report on the performance and expenditures of the same.

**Skills and Expertise**

**Q**ualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business administration.
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Power BI, ERP systems, and/or financial reporting tools (e.g., HFM/OneStream).
- Experience in an international business setting with a proactive attitude that challenges the status quo.
- Familiarity with the financial aspects of IT, digital transformation, or venture investment projects is desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication in English; Dutch and any additional languages are a plus.
