We are looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join us on this exciting journey.

YOUR ROLE

As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will report directly to the Director of Finance and oversee day-to-day financial operations. You will inspire and guide the Finance team, ensuring accuracy, integrity and compliance in all we do. Your key responsibilities will include office management, bank reconciliations, training of the finance team, conducting or participating in meetings, analysis of balance sheet accounts, preparation of journal entries, closing the books and preparing the balance and sheet package.

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting.

Proven leadership experience within a hotel or service-based finance team.

Strong analytical skills, integrity and attention to detail.

Fluency in English, Dutch is a plus

A valid working permit for the Netherlands.

The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
