At The Matcha Society, our mission is to share the art of premium-quality Japanese ceremonial matcha in a serene and aesthetic environment. Our Society starts with our team members who embody our brand DNA and make every guest feel part of something special.
For our newest location in the heart of Utrecht, we are looking for enthusiastic Matcharistas to join our team.
**Your Role**
As a Matcharista, you will be the face of The Matcha Society and:
- Passionate about matcha, wellness, and premium hospitality
- Customer-focused with a warm, welcoming energy, making every guest feel part of our community
- Aesthetic: love for detail, clean presentation, and maintaining our store’s serene atmosphere
- Prepare and serve ceremonial matcha with precision and artistry, along with our signature matcha creations (iced, latte, seasonal specials)
- Flexible and excellent in all-round store positions: hosting & register, sales and product advice (customer journey), preparation of drinks, and whisking the best matcha shots
- Refill and restock ingredients and supplies, ensuring smooth daily operations
- Keep the store spotless through daily and deep cleaning routines
- Carry the brand with love and care, knowing it is a family-owned business born from deep passion, personal growth, and a unique journey
- Embody and represent The Matcha Society brand values in every interaction
