**About this role**

We are looking for an analytical Financial Analyst - R2R to take ownership of financial reporting, variance analysis, and process optimization. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring reporting accuracy, identifying financial trends, and delivering insights that support data-driven strategic decision-making.

As a senior member of the R2R team, you will play a key role in driving financial efficiency, working with cross-functional teams, and supporting automation initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who is fully qualified or progressing toward qualification, with strong technical accounting skills and a track record of self-learning and developing data-handling and coding skills to enhance financial reporting and automation.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with IFRS, improving financial workflows, and contributing to strategic finance initiatives.

**These are some of the key ingredients to the role**:

- Financial Reporting & Analysis:_
- Lead the preparation and review of month-end management accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Lead the labour capitalisation calculation process.
- Perform in-depth balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Analyze key financial accounts, including accruals, leases, and fixed assets.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial trends and performance.
- Support developing dashboards and reporting tools to improve data visualization and decision-making.
- Process Improvement & Automation:_
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial reporting and R2R processes.
- Support automation projects by leveraging data-handling and coding skills (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI, or similar).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows and enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and global finance policies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Compliance:_
- Partner with finance, payroll, and tax teams to ensure alignment on financial reporting.
- Assist in statutory and non-statutory financial statement preparation.
- Work closely with auditors, providing necessary documentation and insights.
- Provide financial insights to senior stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making.

**What will you bring to the table?**
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) or actively pursuing qualification
- Senior experience in financial reporting, R2R accounting, or financial analysis
- Strong technical accounting skills, with expertise in GAAP/IFRS
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Workday, Oracle, or similar) and Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, Power Query)
- Strong analytical mindset, with experience in identifying financial trends and process efficiencies
- Proven ability to self-learn and develop data-handling and coding skills (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI)
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
