**Position: Financial Accountant**

**Location**: Aalsmeer, North Holland, Netherlands

We are seeking a detail-oriented **Financial Accountant** to join our team. We are looking for somebody who thrives in an international environment. As part of this role, you’ll assist the Finance & Accounts team at Aalsmeer with daily tasks and projects.

You will work with a small, but very efficient team of professionals that handle diverse accounting matters similar to a large multinational company.

**What you will be doing**:

- Accurately record purchase, sales, and freight invoices.
- Post bank transactions in accounting software.
- Keep payment documentation in check.
- Provide day-to-day support for our Accounts Payable process in Blue10.
- Help with reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Perform other financial analysis as needed.
- Assist with preparation of accounting package templates for subsidiaries
- Support the team with preparing VAT filing reports.

**What are we looking for (and what we can help you develop)**:

- A completed university bachelor's and/or master's degree in the field of Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics or another relevant study background;
- 2-5 years of work experience;
- Exposure to various aspects of Finance and accounting;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially MS-Excel;
- Fluent in English (verbal, written and spoken). Dutch is a plus;
- Currently living in Netherlands, preferably close to Aalsmeer;
- Attention to detail and ability to analyze and present information to team members;
