**About the position**

We are seeking a leader for our Emerging Markets (Latin America, Africa, and Asia) Regulatory Affairs team, reporting to the Head of Scientific Affairs. You will leverage regulatory insights to identify and implement opportunities to drive the growth of our emerging markets business. As part of a small central team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across different regions and functions globally. You will manage both internal company resources and contracted third-party service providers.

You will:

- Work directly with Product Developers and Technical Project Leaders from the start of a project, guiding them through the regulatory environment to create innovative products with compelling propositions and claims.
- Help define our marketing claims strategy and risk management plans to ensure compliance in all markets.
- Work proactively to ensure our products comply with local regulations and remain compliant as regulations evolve. This includes anticipating, identifying, and assessing the impact of regulatory changes, informing stakeholders, and initiating their implementation.
- Collaborate with external regulatory partners to provide necessary regulatory advice for projects and coordinate sanitary and product registration throughout the region.
- Liaise with colleagues in Legal, External Affairs, Quality, Packaging, and Procurement to address questions from authorities, customers, and suppliers.
- Work closely with Corporate Affairs to represent Flora Food Group's technical interests in industry associations, directly with regulatory bodies and authorities, and in coordination with our legal department.
