**About the position**
Are you passionate about food processing? Do you have a hands-on mentality? At Flora Food Group, we are looking for a Pilot Plant Team Leader who will be responsible for the operation of our state-of-the-art Pilot Plant. In this mini-factory, you will work alongside our skilled technologists and product development colleagues to produce small quantities of spreads, creams, and cheeses for innovation purposes.
As a Team Leader, you are ultimately responsible for the operations, safety, and product quality within the Pilot Plant. Together with the five technologists in your team, you will ensure the timely production of samples for our internal customers. At the same time, you will work closely with the Site Leader to improve overall quality, invest in technical capabilities, and support team development.
**So, what does it take to be successful in this role?**
You have well-established knowledge of food processing and food processing equipment. You can seamlessly switch between troubleshooting technical issues, developing your team, and managing key stakeholders within Product Development. In addition, you bring a continuous improvement mindset, ensuring that our capabilities and ways of working keep pace with the evolving demands of our R&D environment.
From your previous experience, you bring both strong food processing expertise and proven management skills. You are not afraid to make decisions and communicate them clearly within your environment. You have a hands-on mentality and strong communication skills in both English and Dutch.
