**Provide Systems Test Engineering support to Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) Programme**

**EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION**:
**Essential Qualifications/Experience**:
- 8 years extensive and progressive expertise in the duties related to this position
- Good knowledge of, and practical experience in, modern test engineering and test management methods and paradigms
- Good knowledge of, and practical experience in, the operational or technical use of BMD C2 systems supported by NCIA (ACCS, CSI, AirC2IS, NCOP, TOPFAS, NSWAN communications)
- Good knowledge of real-time spaced-based early warning message protocols (SEW/SEW+)
- Good knowledge of BMD related interoperability standards/protocols (e.g., AdatP3, L16/JREAP-C)
- Resource provided by the contractor must have the nationality of one of the NATO nations
- Formal certification for testing
- Knowledge of distributed simulation principles and standards (HLA and DIS)
- Missile Defence experience
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) qualification & experience

**DUTIES/ROLE**:

- Test procedures
ü Support development of Test Cases / Procedures / checklists, cheat sheets and aides to support test execution
ü Support development of a library of test cases / Procedures, including checklists, cheat sheets and aides to support test execution, and ad hoc test scenarios to verify requirements, in cooperation with peers and operators
ü Keep this library up to date
ü Perform any related activity within this scope as deemed appropriate and required to establish the deliverable
ü This activity may require travel to NATO sites in Europe. The deliverable will be provided in a progressive way. Test scripts will be added by the contractor into the JIRA/TestRail library
- Test event plans and execution
ü Support planning and executing BMC3I interoperability test events, and coordinate with test participants and stakeholders at ITB, and when necessary operational sites
ü Participate in the development of verification requirements for the next BMD Architecture increment’s requirement set
ü Ensure all test even results are properly captured in ITB issue management tools and sufficiently documented to allow further analysis
ü Perform any related activity within this scope as deemed appropriate and required to establish the deliverable
ü This activity may require travel to NATO sites in Europe. The deliverable will be provided in an incremental way. Validated and approved results will be added by the contractor into the JIRA/TestRail/Data warehouse library
- Test Reporting
ü Contribute to the drafting of a technical or ad hoc test report (contents dependent upon tests executed)
ü Evaluate the validation status of all requirements within their assigned operational or technical area of expertise
ü Report all defects and deficiencies related to their assigned requirement set observed during test, record them in ITSM or Observation & Issue Database, as appropriate
ü Follow up on the observation and issue resolution and assist in the validation/verification thereof
ü Perform any related activity within this scope as deemed appropriate and required to establish the deliverable
ü Exceptionally, contribution to and drafting of a report outside the assigned operational or technical area of expertise, but within the contractor ’s general domain of expertise will be required
ü This activity may require travel to NATO sites in Europe. The deliverable will be provided whenever a test report is expected
- Technical Reports
ü Produce technical reports, within the contractor ’s area of expertise, related to any Air and Missile Defence system
ü Participate in project milestones, briefings and any related stakeholder support activity required to complete the report
ü Perform any related activity within this scope as deemed appropriate and required to establish the deliverable
