**About the function**:
As a Freight forwarder for our client, you are the logistics expert responsible for arranging shipments for your own customers. You focus on ensuring the best quality while keeping an eye on costs and delivery times. Additionally, you advise existing clients and assist in developing their shipments. With a keen focus on quality, you maintain control over costs and deadlines. Here are the tasks that will fill your day:

- Booking air/ocean freight routes: You handle the practical aspects of air and sea freight.
- Negotiating purchasing rates at the shipping level: You secure the best rates for your shipments.
- Entering all costs and profits: You keep everything organized regarding expenses and profits.
- Processing invoices and credit notes: You ensure all financial documentation is accurately handled.
- Maintaining IT systems with relevant information: You manage the systems that store important data.
- Managing existing shipments and thinking of new freight solutions: You not only oversee current shipments but also brainstorm innovative logistics solutions.

And the great thing is, all of this is within office hours from 9:00 AM to 17:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

**What we need**:

- MBO-level in work and thinking capacity
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the logistics sector
- Fluent in Dutch and English (reading, speaking, and writing)
- In possession of a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG)
- Knowledge of import and export regulations and associated rules
- Availability for 40 hours per week

**What we offer**:

- A gross monthly salary of € 2.600;
- to € 3.600;
- excluding allowances (based on age and experience)
