We are seeking an experiencedContract Managerto support the planning phase of a major civil engineering renewal project. The role involves independently initiating and coordinating inventories, studies, and contract documentation, while providing both solicited and unsolicited advice on contract management and contract execution. The Contract Manager ensures effective preparation for procurement and supports collaboration with market parties throughout the tendering and contracting process. Key Responsibilities Assignment Deliverables Lead the process for preparing the procurement plan, ensuring alignment with project needs. Prepare the full tender dossier, including all required documentation. Develop and execute the market engagement strategy, including organising and chairing market consultations. Produce the implementation contract or equivalent contract documentation. Manage and monitor the planning and timeline for the tendering process. Process and analyse information arising from the tender and negotiation processes. Foster effective collaboration with market parties through structured contract management practices. Provide advice on contract changes in accordance with applicable policy frameworks and legislation (e.g., procurement law). Oversee contract completion and produce the necessary delivery and/or close-out documentation. Leadership & Supervision Provide guidance and oversight to team members or supporting disciplines involved in contract-related activities. Requirements Minimum8 years of experienceas a Contract Manager in preparing and executing civil engineering projects, including experience in at least one planning-phase renewal project. Completed at least ahigher professional education (HBO)qualification in Civil Engineering or an equivalent technical discipline. Minimum4 years of experienceas a Contract Manager working within project-based delivery frameworks such as theIPM modelor comparable project management models. Additional training inproject management,procurement, and/orcontract management. At least8 years of demonstrable experiencewith procurement processes, including drafting procurement plans, agreements, and related documentation. Preferred Qualifications (Wishes) At least5 years of experiencein contract management, including audits, payment processes, and change management procedures. Minimum5 years of experiencepreparing and facilitating market consultations. At least5 years of experiencewithin procurement and contract management teams preparing and tendering complex civil engineering works. Minimum5 years of experienceworking withSAPor similar enterprise resource planning systems.
